NaBloPoMo – Day 3

Hi there.  So, it’s only day three of NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo, and already I’m struggling with what to blog about.  Especially when it was just a day at work today.  I did do a little more writing before I went to sleep last night, so I’m slowly (very slowly) making progress in my NaNo project.  In fact, on the NaNo website, it says that at this rate, it will take me till February 6th to finish.  So, I will definitely need to step up the writing, especially on the weekends.  But, the one good thing is that so far, I’ve managed to write something and blog something each day (if only for the three days so far).

Also, as a means to have something to blog about each day and narrow down my options a bit, I’ve decided to do A-to-Z posts.  That will at least get me through most of the month.  So, starting on the day four post, I will choose something or more than one thing that starts with the letter A, then letter B on the next post, and so on.  It won’t necessarily be related to writing, just the first thing or two I think of.

So, that’s all for now.  Back to the writing… 🙂

NaNoWriMo progress:  1,540 words written, 48,460 words to go

  1. Don’t let a low word count at the beginning of the month get you down. Been there! Sometimes I will write something every day, even if it is just a few words, and then suddenly write a few thousand. Those big “spurt” days make up for the little days. 🙂

    • I knew going into this that I would be doing the majority of my writing on the weekends. Especially this week because the first 6 or 7 days of the month are our busy time at work. But, I’m determined to make it to the finish line.
